Mobile Symptom Monitoring during Chemoradiation for Head & Neck Cancer

Pilot study conducted with the Moffitt Cancer Center

Patients receiving concurrent chemoradiation for locally advanced head and neck cancer experience severe toxicities that can disrupt treatment and outcomes. In this context, we evaluated the feasibility, acceptability, and usability of a mobile symptom‑monitoring platform during chemoradiation for head & neck cancer (HNC). This study included a qualitative assessment to capture user perceptions, shared use, and support needs with a mobile symptom-monitoring solution and to explore caregiver participation, shared use, and support needs.

Discover how the proposed solution for mobile symptom monitoring was considered intuitive and useful for visit preparation and symptom tracking in HNC chemoradiation.
