Targeted therapies via subcutaneous route are becoming more common on the market and more prescribed by physicians. Moreover, auto-injector devices require patients to administer their own medication, sometimes on their own in their home. While they can be time and cost-effective, less than 50% of patients continue to adhere to their treatment after six months.
