SaMD are regulated software that address specific pain points in the treatment journey (e.g., dosing, toxicity, self-administration). As such they are generally tied to a drug and can be considered as interventional, even if some modules and features, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for instance, would not qualify as such.
